We Didn’t Have Silver Bullets

Boy Scouting was an escape for me. The structured meetings, scout leaders, friendships, camping trips, and material I learned helped shield me from home. Don’t be confused. My life wasn’t that bad, but my father was a strict disciplinarian. I was afraid to say or do anything around him for fear of catching a backhand … Continue reading We Didn’t Have Silver Bullets

We all have struggles, but the hard times are where we learn to grow. My major is English with a concentration in Creative Writing. So, I am trying my hand at writing a novel. This #wip (Work in Progress) is an on-going project. I am on chapter 17 now and I have a few more to write. Please. I say again for people in the back, please! Read more books! Yes, the internet and watching shows are great, but you must exercise your mind as well! You never know what you may find when you hit the trails! Get up, get moving, and enjoy nature. I am a blessed man! This woman is my world. She has calmed me down, opened my eyes to a beautiful world, and is my #1 supporter. The other reel didn’t include this part. I love it when he asks me to show him how to “get bigger bubbles.” I strive to make myself better for my kids. They are one of the main things that push me to better myself. What is your why? What is your reason? My kids are what drives me to better myself. I want them to see me doing things that better myself. I want them to have dreams and goals and then fight to obtain what they are after. The time me and lil man went 🦖 hunting. I truly miss being in the Army. Yes, there were times I complained about some of the stupid stuff we had to do, but the memories made are worth every minute of stupidity.
